Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22, 1984, on the 22nd of November, 1984 in New York City New York. She is an American actress/singer whose versatility has gained her recognition across a range of genres - from thrillers and adventures to period films. Johansson was the daughter of an architect as well as a producer was brought up as a child in New York City. Hunter was twin to her younger sister. She began to develop an interest in acting at a young age auditioning for commercials by age seven. The passion for acting developed quickly, and she was soon after in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. When she was eight, she appeared alongside Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry and, at the age of nine she made her debut in film in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Renee Felice Smith started her career in entertainment from a very young age. At the age of a young girl, she became interested in performing. With the support from her parents, Smith got her first acting job in the age of 6. In a television commercial, she starred as Dannon Yogurt. As with many actresses who started out, she decided to perfect her skills in the field of theater. In addition to other projects in the USA she also made her stage debut with Wildflower. She studied at The Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
